Before your first dental visit, we’ll send you our new patient paperwork via text or email. Understanding your full health history helps us provide the safest, most effective treatment possible. At each visit, we’ll check for updates to your medical and dental information. If you’re unable to complete forms online, please arrive early to complete them in-office.
At your first appointment, a hygienist or assistant will take digital X-rays (if needed) and perform an intraoral scan. One of our doctors will then complete an oral cancer screening and a comprehensive dental exam. If your visit includes a cleaning, one of our hygienists will provide a full preventive dental cleaning as part of your care.
After your exam, your dentist will create a personalized treatment plan based on your individual oral health needs. We’ll walk you through every recommendation, so you leave your first visit with a clear understanding of your next steps. Your written treatment plan will include all suggested procedures to help you reach and maintain optimal dental health.
Our patient care team will meet with you to review your treatment plan, explain payment options, and answer any questions about dental insurance. We’ll also help you schedule any future appointments to make sure you get the care you need, on a timeline that works for you.
